Dr Matthew JD Jarrett

Dr Jarrett administers anaesthetics for a variety of different surgical specialties in both the main operating theatres and in the Diagnosis and Treatment (DTC).
He is also one of three consultants that form part of the chronic pain management team, prescribing pain medication and performing procedures to control long term pain.

- Anaesthesia for day surgery and the management of neuropathic (nerve injury) pain

Matt Jarrett has worked at Basingstoke and North Hampshire NHS Foundation Trust since 1997. He trained at Charing Cross Hospital, completing post-graduate training at St Mary’s Hospital Paddington. He has lectured nationally on healthcare in the Third World and locally on pain management.
