Independent advocacy services can support you in being able to speak up and have your say. They can help you in making choices and decisions. They can give you one to one support or introduce you to a group who can help you.

When a person is unable to make their own decisions they are entitled to an independent advocate.
The Office of the Public Guardian supports and promotes decision making for those who lack capacity (unable to make their own decisions) or would like to plan for their future, within the framework of the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
