Coming into hospital for an appointment

Coming into hospital

If you are coming into hospital for an appointment you can talk to the nurse in charge of the clinic before you come in.  If you have any special requirements for your visit, you can talk to him or her about this.

For example, you might want to wait in a room on your own or you might want information in easy read.  If you need help in attending the clinic you can bring a carer or trusted friend with you.

If you want to change the appointment time in the clinic, you can ask for a time that suits you better.  You might need a longer appointment.  You can change this by ringing the number on the appointment card.
