If you are coming into hospital you might like to talk to the ward sister or the matron to discuss your needs before you come in to stay.

During your stay in hospital, you will have a named nurse who will help you plan and coordinate your care. This nurse will link with other people who can help you and make sure that all your needs are met.  Together they will work with you, to make a plan of care, which everyone will follow to help you get well and home safely.
